The work was shown in the inaugural exhibition of the Nordic pavilion in Venice Biennale 1962.

dream café takes place in a ketchup factory turned unsanctioned catering kitchen turned unlicensed bakery turned ceramics workshop turned party venue storage.

The low pressure curiosity, a casual meeting of a nod-and-smile acquaintance as in a dream where characters float by your personal pier, exchange a glance just to dissolve back into the mist. Why are my feet and hands sticking to these surfaces? 

When the Apollo 11 landed on the moon in 1969 the Swedish radio asked Siri Derkert for a comment:
”Oh the moon landing, I find it hard to be captivated by.”
